VOICE OF HOPE

Today we live in a society that is riddled with fear which is a result of anxiety and stress. The world is a mess; lockdown, food shortages, loss of income, government controlling our freedom, etc. … all caused by a pandemic. All you hear is bad news, no good news is reported. People are getting sick, dying, and asking where is God?
God is in control, we are living in the last days, and nothing is a surprise for Him. Jesus told us in Matt 24 that these things will happen. People are succumbing to fear, which is not from God but from the enemy.
In the 1st part of John 10:10 “ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
But the 2nd part reads:” I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.”
‘’Fear not’ / ‘don’t be afraid’ is 365 times in the Bible, one for each day of the year. The Lord didn't intend for us, to spend our days preoccupied with anxiety and worry or have our minds clouded by fear.
God's encouragement is especially evident in Psalm 23:4, "Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me."
And in 2 Timothy 1: 7” For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
