About That Thing Called Manipulation

As we continue in looking and studying the tools of deception, today's subject brings us to the topic of manipulation. The topic of manipulation needs no introduction. Throughout biblical history from Genesis to Revelation, the men and women of God have been in a constant battle to discern whether or not a fellow believer is being used of the devil, and yes, even the people of God can be used to attack one another. Now let's dive into the Word of the Lord to see what it has to say about manipulation. The Bible says in the book of 1 Timothy 4:1(KJV), "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils." 1 Timothy 4:1 starts out with a last day warning about those who will depart from the faith giving into the spirit of manipulation. This verse explains that the devil will manipulate some believers to leave the faith by using spirits to deceive the Christian. My Brothers and Sisters, I warn you do not let the devil try to manipulate you into deception! My Fellow Christians, I cannot stress this enough it is time to wake up, strengthen your faith, and pray against these spirits of deception! My hope to my brothers and sisters is seek God and ask for wisdom for only wisdom and a keen sense of discernment is critical for the safety of your faith. Dear Lord, I thank You for Your Word. I come before You, and I ask You to please give me wisdom to discern what is good and what is of You. I rebuke the hand of the devil. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
