Upholding The Word of God

When we uphold and proclaim the Word of God just as it is, we are keeping the Word of God intact in a world that wants to reject it and outlaw it. We as Christians must always be able to uphold the Word and not let it get tossed around or twisted. Unfortunately, there are some who claim to be Christians who do not stand for the Word. So, why do then they profess themselves to be Christians if they do not stand for the Word? We must be diligent about keeping the Word from getting twisted by incorrect interpretations and by understanding what it says by steadfast reading and studying. Because we understand the holiness of God's Word, we are responsible for what we teach and to make sure our teaching lines up with the Scriptures. The Bible is our dictionary and encyclopedia for life's toughest questions, filled with the knowledge we need in order to survive this world. The Bible says in the book of Proverbs 11:3 KJV, "The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them." What this verse is explaining is that we as Christians must continuously work to keep the Word of God intact. For when we walk in accordance with what the Bible says we are then keeping the integrity of the Bible. Many have gone through the trouble to try and prove that the Word of God is false, which is another form of twisting the Word of God. We as Christians must rise up and speak the truth of God's Word, rejecting the teachings of those who will twist the Word for their own gain. I encourage you to always keep the integrity of the Word of God safe in your heart and always be prepared to defend the Word, for the days are evil and the Lord is constantly looking for those who will defend the Truth of His Word! Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Help me to keep the integrity of Your Word safe and to be steadfast in doing so. In Jesus's Name, Amen.
