12 Weeks of Prayer Week 3 Day 1
THE CHURCH NEEDS A REVELATION
By Justin N. Citro
Vice President of Thread of Hope
For generations, the Church has been at the forefront of hearing revelations from the Lord, and now, in this day and age, it is now more important than ever for the church to receive revelation. The definition of the word "revelation" means "eye-opening," and an eye-opening experience is what the church needs. The church has fallen asleep and has purposely turned away from what the Word says about certain things. In these perilous times, the church needs to wake up, and the church must receive the revelation! Let's see what the Bible says about receiving a revelation. The Bible says in the book of Revelation 3:13(KJV) "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." This verse is key for the Church because of this reason, we must always listen to what the spirit is saying for that's how we receive the revelation. The Holy Spirit is not only the Great Comforter, but He is also our guide, who makes sure we are listening to the Lord because so many people have fallen asleep and have given up. My Brothers and Sisters, now is not the time to be sleeping. Now is the time to awaken and hear what the Lord is saying! I leave all of you with this Hope: Do not let yourself slumber in these last days. Instead, be ready, alert, and most importantly ready to receive revelation for the Lord has not stopped talking to His people! Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your revelation. Lord, I pray for Your church. Please do not let Your people slumber, Lord. Please keep us attentive to what You are telling us. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
