Not Receiving Revelation?

"Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls."

James 1:21 KJV

As we are continuing to discuss the topic of Revelation, I will be discussing the topic of not receiving revelation. Throughout the times of the Bible, there has been more than one occurrence of people missing on what God has to say; this problem exists more prominently in today's modern church. One of the many reasons why the Church has not experienced a revelation from God is because the people of the church are not where they need to be in life. Today, there are people in the church who only care about themselves and are not all interested in what the Word of God has to say, people who rebel and object when the actual teachings of the Word are taught. The Bible is clear about everything in this life from the beginning of life to the end of life, but there are some churches in the world that miss what Lord wants to say due to them believing that Bible is too harsh. The question I now pose is this: How can you experience a revelation if you clearly reject it? Let's go into the Word and see what it says about not receiving a revelation. The Bible says in the Book of James 1:21 KJV, "Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls." This small verse in the first chapter of James perfectly explains the importance of receiving. This verse is a command to us that we need to put aside our filth and put on Christ so we can receive! In these last days, we must be careful that we don't miss what God is telling us, His People! I leave you with this hope, My Brothers and Sisters: Don't let yourself be fooled by wayward thinking. Put on the amour of God. Fight for what is right in the eyes of the Lord for the Lord is with His people. Heavenly Father, I thank You and praise You for this day. I pray for protection over my Life from the falseness that is in the world. I pray for Your church to please give them strength and wisdom to combat what the devil is doing. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
