He Wants To Reveal His Truth To Us

"However, when the Spirit of truth comes,
He will guide you into all truth.
For He will not speak on His own,
but He will speak what He hears,
and He will declare to you what is to come."
John 16:13
What happens when the church is sleeping and not plugged into the God who works in us through the power of the Holy Spirit? The Church misses the revelation of God’s truth and His Word. It is only through the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth that we can receive the truth of God’s Word and all that He wants to reveal to us. When we read and study the Word of God, we are reading God’s revelation to us, and it is He who reveals what His nature and character are, who He is, and what His plans are for us. He communicates His truth to us supernaturally to our heart, mind, and soul.
As the church, let’s remember to seek God and His righteousness, to walk along the path He has laid out for us so that we will receive the truths God wants to reveal to us. “When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths. But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means,” -1 Corinthians 2:14
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me. Thank You for being the one who reveals truth to me. Let me always remember that apart from You, O God, I will not be able to understand the spiritual things. Open my eyes to see and my ears to hear all that You have for me. Be the guard around my heart and the shield around my mind. I ask that You be my Guide and my Instructor and help me as I walk along this narrow path. I ask that You continue to reveal Your nature and character to me. Teach me Your ways, and light the path before me, O God. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
