LEADERS NEED TO STAND FOR TRUTH

Let no man despise thy youth;
but be thou an example of the believers,
in word, in conversation, in charity,
in spirit, in faith, in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12
Betrayal is just one of the many sins that occur within the church today. We have leaders who are not standing up for the truth the Word preaches. Leaders in the church must rise up and combat the evils that are found in the body of Christ. Think about what is happening in churches all around the world. Some are greedy and only want the parishioners' money. Some do not care at all about their congregation, and with that said, leaders who do that are betraying not only themselves but Christ! When will the church wake up and realize that these are the last days and that they cannot afford this type of behavior? The Church must go forward and stand up for what is correct in the eyes of God for if they don't, they will fall into the trap of the devil, and the Lord does not want to see His church fall into the hands of the devil. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 4:12 KJV, "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." This verse perfectly describes the attitude of what a leader should be like. Be an example but be the correct one. There have been many leaders who have gone out and acted like a proper leader, but their actions do not reflect Jesus Christ. Beloved, we see the signs of deception in the Church, but where is the outrage of the serious Christians for the church to grow up? Unfortunately, the church leaders have betrayed the Christian, so they do not know how to deal with ungodliness. Brothers and Sisters, be on alert for false leaders and pray that the Lord will help them. Pray for the ones who have been hurt by the church. Finally, pray for wisdom in these last days. Lord God, I thank You and praise You. Lord, I pray that You come in and clean house, the Church, and drive out any falseness. Give me wisdom and Your Help. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
