The Media today is the most common tool used by the devil in terms of manipulation of fear into the public. The media's goal or should I say plan is to undermine the truth and spread lies. God forbid that we as firm bible believing Christians fall into the pit of deception that is today's modern media. The problem extends further than the nightly news, it continues into a other kind of media that is most influenced by the world and that is the demon filled realm of social media. If you browse Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Whatsapp, and many others, you will find a whole host of deception and lies, it takes a real sense of discernment to understand the truth. Thankfully God in all his wisdom overcame the world though His Son Jesus Christ. Let's see what the bible says about overcoming the world. The Bible says in the book of 1 John 5:4, "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." This verse contains a message that is very simple but very beautiful way and here is its meaning that whomever is born of God has overcome the world, this verse is pointing to Christ as the overcomer of the world and our faith. In this world when we fight we the powers of this world we are not fighting against man but rather demonic spirits (Ephesians 6:12). My Brothers and Sisters, do not fear against the deception of the media for we have not only overcome the world though the power of Christ, but we also have the ability to rebuke them by the power of Christ. Because of Christ, we have the victory! In closing, I leave you with this, My Brethren. No matter what may come our way, we will always have the victory over all evil. In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We come before you thanking you for the victory that we have over the media and the overall victory we have in you. Thank You, Lord, for every victory we have in Your name. In Jesus's Name, Amen!
