As disclosed in Romans 13:1 which says, "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God," God is the originator of all kinds and forms of leadership. National, regional, church and everywhere.
In many cases people have said and thought a particular leader is not from God, however, until it is permitted from the heavens, no man can receive.
As Americans are getting ready to go to the polls as well as mailing in their absentee ballot votes, we as believers hold on to the scripture that says that "God rules in the affairs of men and gives it to whom he wants." America is on the verge of a powerful national breakthrough and the right leader prophetically is essential for this.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You are the God of Justice. You are the God Who Ways Are Perfect. You are the Righteous Judge and You are able to deliver Your People from the hands of those who seek to destroy us. You say in Your Word that this is the confidence that we have, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us, and we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of You. Father, we ask that You have Your way and Your will in the upcoming elections. Father, we commit every absentee ballot that is being mailed in into Your hands as well as every vote that will be made at the polls. Move by Your power and might and put the One You Have Chosen into Place. We ask You to carry out justice. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
