27 DOP: VICTORY OVER COVID DAY 5

In this year of 2020, the world and the church was subjected to the horror that was COVID-19. However, God, in all of His wisdom, knew what he was doing and secured our victory over COVID. Our God is Jehovah-Rophe, Our Healer over all diseases for God alone is our healer!
The Bible says in 1 Peter 2:24(ESV), “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” This verse perfectly describes what Christ did so we do not have to bare the pain that disease brings. Christ died for not only our sins by also our healing for he bore the pain that disease brings. Let's all take time in our daily prayer to thank God for delivering us from the jaws of Satan's plan to bring down the people of God.
My brothers and Sisters, take heed for God is still on the throne and in control!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, You are the Lord Who Knows All, and You, O God, are our Healer. You are still Sovereign! Father, in this time of fear and anxiety, we rest in You, knowing You are our God. You never slumber. You never sleep. You are Our Protector, and it is under Your wings that we take refuge. Your perfect love expels all fear, and You have not given us the spirit of fear but of love and of power and of a sound mind. We need not be anxious for anything, but we come humbly before thanking You for Your hand of protection. We thank You for Your Healing. We thank You for giving us strength and carrying us through 2020. We give You the glory for placing a hedge of protection around us. We believe here and now that You have given us, our nation, victory over COVID. We put our faith in You alone. Our hope is in You alone, and we believe You have removed COVID from our nation. All glory and honor belongs to You for You, O God, are worthy all of glory, honor, and praise. Thank You for delivering from COVID. Thank You for being the shield around us. Thank You for giving us the victory. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
