VICTORY FOR SANCTITY OF LIFE 29 DAYS OF PRAYER: DAY 3 Written By Eddie Massih Worship Leader and Evangelist
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” -Jeremiah 1:5(KJV)
America was constituted in 1787 on Biblical grounds. We can see, feel, and experience the taste of the Word of God in it. However, over the years, a majority of people have abandoned God, making Him secondary in their life. Some have fallen apart, turning theirs back on Him. Some have given up the nature of God, some are living in darkness leaving their purity behind. In the midst of all of this, the sanctity of human life has been lost. We see many have disregarded human life and believe it can be discarded simply because it is inconvenient to them. They have chosen to kill life that not only grows within the womb, but they have also chosen to kill life outside of the womb. They have chosen to take the gift of life away from child whom God has seen fit to give life to. God is the Giver of life, and where there is no respect or reverence for God, there is no respect or regard for human life. God calls murder evil, and yet countless unborn children are killed daily not just in the USA but all over the world. Second Chronicles 20:6 says, “God rules over all the kingdoms of the nations.” Where is God in the nations today?
It is God whom we want to see ruling in our nation. It is our desire to see everyone come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to realize that their life is precious, that they are valuable, created in the image of the Almighty Everlasting God. It was God who formed every individual, knitting them together in their mother’s womb; it is Him who in whom every life is fearfully and wonderfully made. Every individual who is alive today is because of God who has brought them thus far.
The Bible says in Matthew 5:8, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Yes, we want to see God moving in our country, we want to see God stretching His hand upon us and overshadowing us. We want to see God ruling the nation of America. How will we see this happen? We shall see it when we maintain our life in purity and the nation will see it when they live a sanctified life. We shall see it when we given to view the gift of life God has given us, as valuable and filled with purpose and significance. The Lord has given us the burden and given us the opportunity to cry for the nation. He has made us to stand in the gap to intercede so the peace of God can flow in every corner. It is God who sanctifies. It’s the blood of Jesus that washes our sins away and prepares us to see God. Moses saw God and His marvelous works in purity. Jesus prayed for his disciples in John 17:17 saying “Sanctify them with your truth, your word is true.” Today’s scripture says He sanctified Jeremiah, so as He will sanctify you, me and all the people of America. Prayer: Dear Precious Jesus, at this time we submit our life and the people of our nation before You and we ask You, Lord, to wash us clean with Your blood to see You and Your move in our nation. We cry out in repentance before You, O God, for the innocent lives of babies who have been killed senselessly and before their time. We pray that You will draw Your people back to You. We pray that they come before You with sincerity of heart and with a contrite spirit. Lord, may we learn to call evil what You have called evil and learn to call good what You have called good. Draw Your people towards you that they shall come to you with the heart of repentance and live a Holy life, pleasing to you. Let every hindrance be removed in the name of Jesus. May they walk in victory proclaiming the name of Jesus. We believe we shall see the answers of our prayers for Your promises are yes and amen. May Your name be glorified in all that we say and do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
