VICTORY OVER SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS

Through the ages the problem of spiritual blindness has plagued God’s people, but we need to ask how do we overcome this problem? What causes the problem, and how do we find victory?
Let’s see what the Bible says about victory over spiritual blindness. The Bible says in Colossians 1:13(NLT) “For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son.” This verse explains our rescue from the darkness of this life into the light of the Lord. Now let’s break it down a bit and ask this question: what is the darkness of this world, and why do we need to be rescued from it? The world today is filled with evil, engineered to plague the children of God and bring them down; that is the plan of the devil. So with that said, the devil sends his agents of darkness to try to bring the people of God down. However, God, in all his wisdom, power, and might, knew what Satan was going to do. So God sent down the greatest power to combat this - His Son and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is our victory from darkness. Jesus, when he was crucified on the cross, defeated the Devil’s scheme to attack God’s children. Thus, we were transferred from darkness to life and our victory secured from darkness! Praise be to Jesus who gave us Victory from all the powers of the devil!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, You are the One Who Makes the Blind To See. Lord, we ask in Jesus' name, You open the eyes of people to see what You see. It is You, O Lord, who has secured our victory. Lord, bring the lost into Your fold. Remove the veil from their eyes to see that You, Lord Jesus, are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Let Your Spirit fall convicting the hearts of men and women all over. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
