YOU, LORD, KEEP MY LAMP BURNING; MY GOD TURNS MY DARKNESS INTO LIGHT.
PSALM 139:7-12
7. WHERE CAN I GO FROM YOUR SPIRIT? WHERE CAN I FLEE FROM YOUR PRESENCE?
8. IF I GO UP TO THE HEAVENS YOU ARE THERE; IF I MAKE MY BED IN THE DEPTHS, YOU ARE THERE.
9. IF I RISE ON THE WINGS OF THE DAWN, IF I SETTLE ON THE FAR SIDE OF THE SEA,
10. EVEN THERE YOUR HAND WILL GUIDE ME, YOUR RIGHT HAND WILL HOLD ME FAST.
11. IF I SAY, “SURELY THE DARKNESS WILL HIDE ME AND THE LIGHT BECOME NIGHT AROUND ME,”
12. EVEN THE DARKNESS WILL NOT BE DARK TO YOU; THE NIGHT WILL SHINE LIKE THE DAY, FOR DARKNESS IS AS LIGHT TO YOU.

THE LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS, AND THE DARKNESS HAS NOT OVERCOME IT.
JOHN 8:12
WHEN JESUS SPOKE AGAIN TO THE PEOPLE, HE SAID,” I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. WHOEVER FOLLOWS ME WILL NEVER WALK IN DARKNESS, BUT WILL HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE.”
This is the hour to stir up the gift in you, to fan into flame the gift of God within. This is the hour to not only remain in the secret place with the one who is the light but to come out and go into all the world to make known that light. This is the hour to come out of the comfort of the church building and go into the streets. This is the hour to go into the places we would normally fear to go, to go to the darkest corners of your city, to those that sit in darkness, and to be a light unto them and to make known unto them that light. Jesus said as long as I am in the world I am the light but after He left we became the light. There was but one light while Jesus was on the earth but after He left there were many lights. WE ARE THOSE LIGHTS.
JESUS SAID IN LUKE 12: 49 - 50, “I HAVE COME TO SET THE WORLD ON FIRE AND I WISH THAT IT WAS ALREADY BURNING WITH A FIERY PASSION FOR GOD. I HAVE A TERRIBLE BAPTISM OF SUFFERING AHEAD OF ME, AND I AM UNDER A HEAVY BURDEN UNTIL IT IS ACCOMPLISHED.
It cost Jesus everything, even His life to be able to produce many lights upon the earth. We are the ones called to set the world on fire for Christ with the light He has graciously given us. CHRIST IN US, IS THE LIGHT TO THE WORLD. But are we fulfilling this great commission? Are we granting Jesus His wish, His greatest desire? Are we setting the world on fire with our light? Are we shining our light into the darkness that is covering the earth and the people?
We no longer will proclaim, “this little light of mine. I am going to let it shine.” For I have come to tell you that what you carry within is not a “little” light. It is a great light that no darkness can overcome. Demons tremble at your light. ARISE, SHINE FOR YOUR LIGHT IS COME!!!!!!!! If you can believe, wherever you go your light will make the darkest places as the day. If you can believe no city, no street, no place will be too dark for the light within you. Go and be light while we still have the time!!!!!!
