Our Response Can Only Be

“For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.” (Romans 5:10)

“He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.” (2 Corinthians 5:15)

The TRUTH is JESUS, and when you know The TRUTH (John 14:6), the TRUTH makes you free (John 8:32). In Christ, your chains are broken, and you are made free. You were bought with a high price; That price being Christ who gave His life for you on the cross of Calvary. His blood was shed for you. Provision was made long ago and is still available today so you have all you need to stay free from the control of sin and death.

Let me say this again: IN CHRIST, YOUR CHAINS ARE BROKEN, AND YOU ARE MADE FREE!

People, the message of the cross is the power of God to those of us who are being saved while it is foolishness to those who are perishing (1 Corinthians 1:18); and since Christ made the ultimate sacrifice, His sacrifice is infinitely greater than any sacrifice or offering ever made. Because His sacrifice was unblemished and undefiled, all we need has been provided in and through Him, and before God, we stand redeemed, are reconciled to God, and restored by God.

YOU ARE A NEW CREATION, and being a new creation, there are doors that are closed to you. Those doors closed to you are the doors of the iniquities you were bound to before you came to Christ. Be wise. Walk in the ways of God, and do not get entangled again in the sins you were enslaved by before you came to the knowledge of Christ. The Lord captured you to set you free to walk in greatness, not to get caught up in the things of this world.

What should be our response to the Lord who is good to us and has showered us with grace and mercy?

Our response should be, “Thank You, Lord, for setting me free to live for You. I’m Yours, O Lord. I surrender myself to You to work your plan in me and guide me in the way I should go.”
