The Holy Spirit the Lord's great comforter dispatched to us as fire when the Lord Jesus Christ went up to be at the right hand of the Father (John 14:26). The Holy Spirit has been guiding us Christians since the beginning of creation. The Holy Spirit was there was God was created the world as He was part of the trinity. In old testament the Holy Spirit was known as the Spirit of God (Genesis 1:2). Now lets look in the New Testament as to what the purpose of the Holy Spirit is. The Bible says, in the Gospel of John 16:13 (KJV), it says, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." This verse explains the exact mission of the Holy Spirit. The Holy is our guide who also helps us. He reveals evil and other matters and how to deal with them. Let us praise God for the Holy Spirit!
Beloved, I urge all of us who are in need of revelation to pray and seek the Holy Spirit's guidance!
