Throughout the history of the world, the Lord has been going around casting demons and sicknesses out of His people, and even after he ascended into heaven he gave us this Power (Matt 10:1). The Lord does not want his people to be sick instead he wants us to be alive and well completing His will. Let's turn to word and see what it says about healing. The Bible says in Jeremiah 17:14 (KJV) "Heal me, Oh Lord, and I shall be healed; and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise." What an amazing verse with a simple declaration of Faith Heal me and I SHALL be healed! But why do we get sick? There is no actual explanation as to why we get sick sometimes it can be caused by sin but even the righteous can get sick sometimes sin and sickness go hand in hand for some time. Sin can be the cause of sickness that is why I stress the importance of being right with God and that if you are in Sin, repent! But there is an example of a righteous man who did get sick that person was Job, Job in his time was the most righteous man in the area, but God put him through a test and subjected Him through boils on his skin and in the end Job passed his test. The Lord's will is not for us to receive sickness and sometimes even death but His will is for us to be well and to carry out plans he has for us! But if we are sinning and we receive sickness we must quickly repent for as I mentioned before sin brings forth sickness! My Brothers and Sisters I leave you with this if you want to be healed and set free from the bondage of sin and disease, you have to this simple thing REPENT and the Lord will forgive you!
