THE TRUMPET
Hosea 8:1 “Set the trumpet to your lips! [The enemy] comes as a [great] vulture against the house of the Lord, because they have broken my covenant and transgressed against my law.”
The message is a call to each one that will heed the call to prepare as soldiers would prepare for war. To put on the full armor of light as to stand fully equipped against the dominion of darkness in these last days. The mandate is to equip and make ready a people for the soon return of their King.
IT IS TIME FOR WAR.
Matthew 11:12
From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it.
Now is the hour to dress up for war. Now is the hour to take up the full armor of light and to be fully equipped against the onslaught of the enemy that comes against the kingdom of heaven.
There is a remnant army rising up. They are those who fear no enemy, nor can any foe intimidate them for they will say, “These enemies are but grasshoppers in the sight of our God, He will crush them.” They have made up their mind they will lay hold of and press into the promises of God. They are those soldiers of war who will not allow anyone or anything to rob them of the crown that their Lord Himself will place upon their head, a crown of glory and honor. They will by no means lose their reward for they have fought the good fight of faith and they will come out victorious. They are an ARMY WHOSE GOAL IS TO WIN. THEY HAVE COME ALL THIS WAY, THEY HAVE MADE IT THUS FAR, AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE UP NOW. They cry out a cry of war an echo of the cry of their King “Father, thy will be done, whatever the cost, we will drink the cup you set before us. Father glorify Your Name”. THEY WILL STAND AS ONE IN SPIRIT, STRIVING SIDE BY SIDE, EACH ESTEEMING THE OTHER AS ABOVE HIMSELF, CARRYING EACH OTHER'S BURDENS, SHARING IN THE LABOUR, CONTENDING WITH A SINGLE MIND FOR THEIR FAITH IN CHRIST, NOT ONE SEEKING THEIR OWN BUT ONLY THAT WHICH ARE CHRIST’S.
When John the Baptist cried out to the people in those days, he was not speaking to a crowd. It was a personal call to each individual heart and that call is still resonating today. It is the CALL of the Father to each one of us. Will you fight, will you advance the kingdom of heaven upon the earth? will you take up your arms and stand? Will you fight even should it cost your life? It is time for war!
