THE TRUMPET
Hosea 8:1 “Set the trumpet to your lips! [The enemy] comes as a [great] vulture against the house of the Lord, because they have broken my covenant and transgressed against my law.”
The message is a call to each one that will heed the call to prepare as soldiers would prepare for war. To put on the full armor of light as to stand fully equipped against the dominion of darkness in these last days. The mandate is to equip and make ready a people for the soon return of their King.
HOW HUNGRY ARE YOU?
Years ago, I was in my prayer closet being in prayer and in the scriptures. I had such a hunger to know the Holy Spirit at the level that the well-known preacher Kathryn Kuhlman knew Him. I desired for the Holy Spirit to be more real to me than those around me and that I would recognize His voice above all others. I had such a holy hunger within me, a fierce desire burning within and I prayed this prayer, “Father I desire double the anointing that was upon this woman Kathryn Kuhlman. I desire to attain double her knowledge of and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Father, I know that I do not truly understand the heaviness of what I am asking. I know I do not fully understand the price required to walk where she walked. Father, I know she said it cost her everything. I know she said she can show us the place where Kathryn Kuhlman died. There is nothing I desire more. I will pay the price. I will lay down this life. Father, it will not be by my might, nor will it be by my power, but it will be by your Holy Spirit” As I was speaking to the Father and reading the scriptures clear as the day He spoke to me through His Word.
Luke 11: 8-10 & 13
8. I say unto you, though he will not rise and give him because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity (persistence especially to the point of annoyance), he will rise and give him as many as he needed.
9. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened unto you.
10. For everyone that asks receives; and he that seeks finds, and to him that knocks it shall be opened.
13. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?
At that very moment, He said to me, “I will give you as much of the Holy Spirit as you desire.”
I ask you when you go into your prayer closet, what are you asking for? What are you seeking? Why are you knocking? Do you have a holy hunger? Do you hunger for spiritual things, rather than that which satisfies the flesh? The word of God clearly states that only those who hunger and thirst for righteousness shall be filled. Press in! Press in until the anointing comes! Press in until you see Him face to face! Press in until you are filled! Press in until you are fully satisfied! Your Father in heaven will give you as much as you desire. He will satisfy that hunger within. The question remains, how hungry are you?
