THE TRUMPET
Hosea 8:1 “Set the trumpet to your lips! [The enemy] comes as a [great] vulture against the house of the Lord, because they have broken my covenant and transgressed against my law.”
The message is a call to each one that will heed the call to prepare as soldiers would prepare for war. To put on the full armor of light as to stand fully equipped against the dominion of darkness in these last days. The mandate is to equip and make ready a people for the soon return of their King.
THE TRUTH BEHIND THE MIRACLE OF THE WATER TURNED INTO WINE.
Romans 8:24-25
24. O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from this body of death?
25. I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind, I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
JOHN 17:19
And FOR THEIR SAKES I SANCTIFY MYSELF, THAT THEY ALSO MIGHT BE SANCTIFIED THROUGH THE TRUTH.
Let us look into the scriptures that will reveal unto us the great sacrifice, the very high price that was paid so that we in our weak earthen vessels can carry the divine power, the anointing, the precious gift of the Holy Spirit.
John 2:1-11
1. On the third day there was a wedding at Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
2. Jesus also was invited with His disciples to the wedding.
3. And when the wine was all gone, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no more wine!
4. Jesus said to her, [Dear] woman, what is that to you and to me? [what have we in common? Leave it to me.] My time (an hour to act) has not yet come.
5. His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do it.

6. Now there were six water-pots of stone standing there, as the Jewish custom for purification (ceremonial washing) demanded, holding twenty to thirty gallons apiece.
7. Jesus said to them, Fill the water-pots with water. So they filled them up to the brim.
8. Then He said to draw some out now and take it to the manager of the feast [ to the one presiding, the superintendent of the banquet]. So they took Him some.
9. And when the manager tasted the water just now turned into wine, not knowing where it came from - though the servants who had drawn the water knew - he called the bridegroom.
10. And said to him, Everyone else serves his best wine first, and when the people have drunk freely, then he serves that which is not so good; but you have kept the good wine until now!
11. This is the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee and manifested His glory (by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly), and His disciples believed in Him [adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him].
There is a great truth to be found in this passage. The first miracle done by Jesus on this day, speaks about the greatest miracle, the first in line before any other: the miracle of salvation! THAT MIRACLE IS REVEALED IN THIS PASSAGE. Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh and overcame and mastered sin while in the flesh. HE CAME AS A VESSEL FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURIFICATION but as that VESSEL it was required of Him that He remain a vessel pure and undefiled, to be a vessel of silver and gold, a vessel of honor in the house of the Father: A VESSEL THAT COULD CARRY THE ANOINTING OF GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE NEW WINE, a vessel made READY to be used of the Father. He had to become the perfect sacrifice, the perfect lamb of God, an offering that would be accepted by a holy God. A perfect, untainted offering with the purpose of purifying many other vessels through His death and resurrection to be able to present many other vessels pure before the Father. This is the picture of the new covenant. In His mercy, He brought unto us a better covenant full of grace and truth, through the Word, the message of the good news, the salvation of our souls that came unto us in the form of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We have been made pure vessels through the blood and death of Christ as to be made vessels worthy to carry this new wine, the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He was tempted in every way while in the body of flesh and His earthen vessel, His body was beaten and broken, He suffered the most severe affliction and suffering that any man could bear, He even bore the shame of the cross and suffered the death of the cross, bearing upon Himself the sin of the world and He did it all for us. THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD purified many vessels and brought many SONS unto God.
Matthew 9:15-17
15. And Jesus replied to them, Can the wedding guests mourn while the bridegroom is still with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.
16. And no one puts a piece of cloth that has not been shrunk on an old garment, for such patch tears away from the garment and a worse rent (tear is made.
17. Neither is new wine put in old wineskins; for if it is, the skins burst and are torn in pieces, and the wine is spilled and the skins are ruined. BUT NEW WINE IS PUT INTO FRESH WINESKINS, AND SO BOTH ARE PRESERVED.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
19. Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit who lives within you, whom you received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own.
20. YOU WERE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So, THEN HONOUR GOD AND BRING GLORY TO HIM IN YOUR BODY.
2 Corinthians 4:7
But WE HAVE THIS TREASURE IN EARTHEN VESSELS, THAT THE EXCELLENCY OF THE POWER MAY BE OF GOD, NOT OF US.
Ephesians 5:18
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery ( excessive indulgence in sex, alcohol, drugs, etc.); but ever be filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit.
Again I say,

Glory to God in the Highest for there is One to be found worthy to deliver us from this body of death and sin: Jesus Christ the Son of God, our Lord and Saviour, the only righteous One. He who willingly offered up His body unto suffering and death to declare and present us righteous before the Father. My heart rises up in praise like the manager that tasted the wine that was brought unto him and before all the guests he proclaimed with joy that this wine that he had now received was better than the previous. In the same manner, we have tasted the new wine of a better and a new covenant that is only found in Christ Jesus our Lord! We have seen the miracle of salvation! We have received the Holy Spirit sent from God! We have been given a reason to rejoice and to celebrate!
