THE AMAZING STORY OF HOW CITRO COSMETICS CAME ABOUT.
I wanted to bring to you the miraculous story of how Citro Cosmetics came about. I believe this story will encourage each of its readers. I have come to tell you that if God could do it for Dr. Teresa Allissa Citro He can surely do it for you. All He requires is your obedience and trust. Sometimes it will take for you to step out of the boat into the water but the results will be worth it. Be blessed through her testimony.

I am going to share just how amazing this story of Citro Cosmetics and Skin Care came about. I don’t even believe how things come my way, so I’m grateful when there are people who can validate what I am saying. Let me remind us. God speaks! The real question is, “Are we listening?”
One morning this past summer, I woke up, went to pray, and heard, “I want you to open your skin and cosmetics company.” I immediately, said, “What, God? Huh? What do You mean? I know nothing about make-up. Surely, it can’t be You speaking?” I brushed it off, and I even laughed out loud. There I stood in front of my mirror and I said, “Really? That’s funny.”
The next morning, I woke up, went to pray, and again, “I want you to open your skincare and cosmetics company.” This time, I changed my come back, “God, do you remember I am in the education world? I know nothing about make-up. You know, I don’t wear makeup every day. I can’t do something I don’t know anything about. Why is this coming up now anyway? God, it can’t be you telling me this, this must be me or something. But, why would I think this?” This went on for three weeks.
On the third week, on Tuesday, afternoon, around 4 PM. I received a message. The message was from my wonderful friend, Tish Hagee Tucker. It read, “Hey, if you ever decide to open your own cosmetics company my daughter and I would love to help you. Mckenzie would be interested because she loves makeup and is looking into being a Marketing major, etc. And, of course, I’m happy to help in any way.” I was sitting down, and that was a good thing. Because I got lightheaded, my mouth dropped, and I thought, “Ok, God, you are serious about this? If it is You, then you better put things together quickly.”
The next day, I had made plans weeks in advance to meet up with my two friends. I told Tish, I just remembered one is an esthetician. When I see her tomorrow. I will talk with her. The next day, I told my esthetician friend what took place, and I asked her to come and do this with me. I was expecting to hear, “No.” Instead, she said, “Yes.” We started working together, and here we are. Citro Cosmetics and Skin Care was birthed. There’s no doubt God wasn’t in this. God, told me for three weeks when I wasn’t listening, He sent Tish. The next day, it so “happened.” I was meeting with my friends Noel and Lorraine.
You see, this verse speaks volumes. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3: 5-6. We quote this scripture often, but sometimes I wonder if we understand it? The whole purpose of living a surrendered life (A subject I wrote about in my book, Surrender) means that we do whatever God’s will for our life is. It is not, “Hey, God, here is what I want, so I will just ask you to put Your stamp of approval ok?” It doesn’t work this way. You see, before He even begins to reveal what His will is for us, we have to trust Him and we have to be committed to doing whatever that will is. Then, we live a life of excitement and adventure. Honestly, I wouldn’t want it any other way. I share my life here openly on FB on purpose.
I am more than excited for Citro Cosmetics and Skin Care because God is leading me to help develop products that work, and do not harm us. This brings me to the second part of my testimony. The next thing I felt I needed to do was to call a friend and ask about their vitamins and if we could formulate a cream? And, on my birthday, the first call I got was from my friend Chris wishing me a Happy Birthday, and I learned about the cream. This birthday was a special one for me. Little did I know just a few days before they had already received the patent for it, and now, I proudly will carry it, as they permitted me, to partner with them, and use my name on it, too.
I know God called me to this, and all of the proceeds will go to Thread of Hope. Every single penny of it. I will use my products to raise funds so that I can bless those who find themselves in hopeless situations. Tell me God didn’t call me to this? I asked pastors I know to lay hands on the products and bless them. I had no idea, that prayer would open even bigger doors to create even more powerful products that are healthy for you. THE KEY TO SURVIVING THE WORLD TODAY
In today's modern world there is evil ready to do the body of Christ evil whether it be using deception, or other methods there is no doubt that the body of believers in the world is under attack from the devil himself. Now we as the followers of the Lord must remain steadfast in him. The world today is gunning to attack and persecute the church of Jesus Christ but we must take heed knowing the Lord has provided us keys to combat the enemy.
The Bible says in the Gospel of John 16:33 (KJV)"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Here we have the first key in surviving the world, Jesus has overcome the world, now what Christians have forgotten in this global pandemic is that Jesus is still in control! For close to two years now the body of Christ has forgotten and taken out of context the fact that Jesus has overcome every sickness, every demonic power, and any form of attack. The second key is found in Isaiah 41:10(KJV)"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." here we find the last key in surviving the world today. The Lord will always be with us to help and strengthen us. Though out the fabric of history the Lord has never forsaken his chosen people and my brothers and sisters we are the remnant in these last days, we have been set apart to continue the mission of the Lord until His glorious return to take up His people.
