WHAT SHOULD CHRISTIANS DO BEFORE THEY DEPART THIS EARTH?

VOICE OF HOPE

LIVING A LIFE THAT LEADS OTHERS TO CHRIST:

1 Corinthians 10: 30 – 33 TPT So if I voluntarily participate, why should I be judged for celebrating my freedom? Whether you eat or drink, live your life in a way that glorifies and honors God. And make sure you’re not offending Jews or Greeks or any part of God’s assembly over your personal preferences. Follow my example, for I try to please everyone in all things, rather than putting my liberty first. I sincerely attempt to do anything I can so that others may be saved.

Your life becomes way bigger than you when you get born again, it becomes a life of pleasing your maker instead of gratifying the desires of your flesh, Christ has now come to live in you fully. This is why we have to be now careful of how we conduct our lives, the most important thing to God is to have all of His children come to repentance. There are so many ways we can offend people to such an extent that they run away from the gospel instead of running to it. When you have matured in Christ you truly come to a place of liberty being bound in Christ as Paul said that he was a prisoner of Christ, and so are we as God’s children. We have to live in a way that does not offend others who are still growing in Christ Jesus, that is the responsibility of every matured believer. Whatever you do should be to the glory of God, the Holy Spirit is always with us nudging us on the path that we should always be going so that we are counted worthy to be called his own.

Applying this principle enables you to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ without even opening the scriptures because now your lifestyle is preaching the gospel too.

Colossians 4:5 TPT Walk in the wisdom of God as you live before the unbelievers, and make it your duty to make him known. 6Let every word you speak be drenched with grace and tempered with truth and clarity. For then you will be prepared to give a respectful answer to anyone who asks about your faith.

Make it your duty to make Him known, this is the ultimate call of every believer. Not every believer is called to stand in the pulpit and preach, but every believer is called to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus. God has tailor-made specific people for each and every one of us to preach to.

That is why wherever we go as the children of God we should always carry this burden of winning souls to the Kingdom of God. Our lives as believers must be exemplary of Christ, in the way we talk, the way we dress, the places we go to, the company we keep, the way we do business, the way we do our work, etc We are all soul winners and this mandate was given to us all!
